Congratulations on earning your certification! Here are the best ways to showcase your achievement and make sure it gets the recognition it deserves.
Tips for Sharing Your Digital Badge

Post your badge image on social media platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, or Instagram.

Add a short message (e.g., “Proud to have earned my [Certification Name]! #lifelonglearning #professionaldevelopment”).

Use professional hashtags relevant to your industry to increase visibility.
To help you share the news, after earning your credential, you'll see four new icons on your Achievements dashboard:
- The LinkedIn logo contains instructions and a link to post your badge onto your LinkedIn profile.
- The "person" icon provides you with links to your certification profile and digital certification verification page.
- The "backpack" allows you to share your achievements via an Open Badge online backpack like BADGR.
- The “graduation cap” icon on the right allows you to print your certificate or save it to PDF.
Add to LinkedIn Licenses & Certifications

From your acheivements dashboard, click on the LinkedIn logo.

You'll be provided with instructions and a personalized link.
- Copy that personalized link.
- Go to your LinkedIn profile → Add profile section → Licenses & Certifications.

Complete the fields:

Name: [Certification Name]

Issuing Organization: [Association Name]

Credential URL: Use your verification page PURL (preferred for credibility).

Credential ID: If applicable.

Your certification will now be displayed on your profile, where employers, colleagues, and recruiters can verify it.
- You'll also be presented with an option to create a post celebrating your achievement.
Share Your Personalized URLs (PURLs)

Click on the "person" icon on your achievements dashboard to access your personalized URLs

Verification Page PURL: Use this link when you want people to instantly confirm your achievement. Add it to your résumé, email signature, or social media post.

Public Profile Page PURL: Great for online portfolios, digital résumés, or personal websites to showcase all your certifications.
Use an Open Badges Backpack (like Badgr)

Click on the "backpack" icon on your achievements dashboard

You'll receive a personalized URL to add to your digital backpack.

Copy and paste that link in Badgr or another Open Badges wallet.

This allows you to:

Store all your credentials in one place.

Share your backpack link on résumés, personal websites, or professional bios.
Promote in Everyday Communications

Email Signature: Add your badge (linked to your verification PURL).

Digital Résumé/CV: Insert the badge or verification link under certifications.

Presentations/Bios: Use the badge image in speaker bios, proposals, or conference materials.
